MozMeet_20Sept

The Mozilla community Mozilla Madhya Pradesh is a what a community is supposed to be like. We support, we teach, we learn, we share Ideas, we share ideologies and most importantly we share one mission Mozilla's Mission.There are Reps, Mentors &  FSA  sharing their knowledge and working with passion for the same dream... to satisfy the Mozilla Mission. 

It was really a great day as I was eager to resume my FSA duties, there was a meetup at Grills and More in c-sector, Indrapuri, Bhopal, for the "firefox for windows 10 campaign" there were various new faces and many familiar faces too we had with us dignitaries - MozRep Vaibhav Bajaj, MozRep Rahul Talreja.

The meetup started with a general introduction of all the FSA. Then MozRep Rahul Talreja gave me an opportunity to share my experiences with the fellow FSA about my campus placements where my being a Mozillian helped me a lot.

Then after a brief introduction of the attendees thee was a discussion about the day's agendas
which basically were:

1.) Contributions Of Mozillians in various sectors.

2.) Localisation

3.) Windows 10 Campaign

4.)Recognition

5.) WoMoz appreciation.


MozRep Rahul Talreja the conductor and the head of the meetup further discussed about thewas the ways and sectors through which a Fsa(Firefox Students Ambassador) can contribute.He discussed the various levels of recognition in FSA.

Then we were joined by Vaibhav Bajaj sir who is a senior Mozilla representative. He told us localization & L10 was the main topic of discussion he taught us about the locamotion which is the translation of Firefox and other Mozilla products into our local language which can be hindi,urdu,punjabi etc. Now the question arises how can this help the end user?

As we know that in India majority of people speak hindi or their respective language thus, with this initiative Mozilla wants to make a home like environment for its users which is a innovative thinking to be said.

I with the other FSA then helped the students in making the firefox browser the default web browser for windows 10. We also explained them about the advantages of using Firefox browser. Mozilla is providing such a wide platform where anyone can become a well recognized person. It will not only boost up one's academic skills but also will help them to emerge as an independent renowned personality in their surrounding. 





Finally then the worthy and top contributors were awarded :

Top performer in Army Of Awesome(AoA) since last one month Satyadeep Bharadwaj being awarded.

I was fortuitous that I got such an opportunity to have a interaction with them.I would like to bestow for Mozilla by my innovative skills and talents so that I may able to create  a benchmark for others. It was fabulous meeting and it inspired me a lot. I also want to contribute for Mozilla with my skills.

WoMoz

Among the fabulous MozRep and fantastic FSAs there were also the pretty WoMoz who are contributing in the field as much as BroMoz if not greater than them. To mark their presence and appreciate their efforts MozRep and FSA awarded the WoMoz with not just respect but also the swags.

Hard work can never be forgotten nor it can remain unnoticed and it always pays so to appreciate the efforts of the team and their team JNCT Firefox Club was awarded 

                                    

Mozilla is providing the finest opportunity for newbies to grow their talents and providing them the right direction and platform to inculcate and sprout up which will help them a lot in their future and will be definitely furnishing their knowledge and talents.

And with a firm decision to start a club at my college campus i returned from the meetup driving home with MozRep Rahul Talreja enjoying the cool breeze and  is auspicious presence
